People sleep with their doors open in this country : SEE WHY😲

Almost 99.9% of people from other countries lock their doors as well as windows when they sleep, that is due to higher crime rate and other aspects which involves safety around the neighborhood. Well people from this country are just laughing this action off as they don't lock their doors when they sleep.


1. Lowest level of crime rate.

Iceland boast with the lowest level of 22.26% crime rate in the whole world. The crime rates is determined by many factors including reports on deligent crime such as thieving, drug dealing, hijacking, corruption etc. It is indeed shocking but the truth is that, in Iceland an average of 1.5 are reported for murder per year. That how safe the country is.


2.High satisfaction and standard of living.

If one has to go over it, the truth is that many crime activities occur due to not being satisfied. The more happy one is with his/ her life the the lesser that individual will see a need to commit an unlawful act. Crime activities like robbery have the lowest rate in Iceland because, the standard of living is high and there is more than enough resources for everyone to utilize and enjoy.

It is even shocking to find that locks are not sold in Iceland because there is no need for them, people sleep peacefully with their doors open without having to worry about house extortion or something, who doesn't want that feeling.🥺


3.Education and jobs!

Iceland gives education the credit it deserves, a college degree in Iceland will cost you less than an average 1 month rent in America. About 78% of adults from age of 24 - 64 have indeed completed high school. Iceland have a boasting of more than 86% adults who got paid jobs, meaning the employment rate in Iceland is even higher than the worlds average employment rate.


4.There is one line of communication

Even though there is a national language, Icelanders tend to use English as their line of communication. It is without a doubt that English is the number 1 language of communication globally, so in Iceland they made it compulsory in school and the platforms they use such as Google, YouTube etc. operate by it. This is to allow the flow of conversation between the Icelanders and its +1.7 million annual visitors.


5.No national army.

Yup you heard me right, it does sounds a little bit of and an impossible act but Iceland doesn't go to war. The one and only remembered war they had was with the United Kingdom when it tried to reap the benefits of the Icelandic national waters by fishing in it. Icelanders with their very polite attitude swam under water and had their fishing nets cut-off, a cold move but it was much better than picking guns, don't you think?
